The covered waterfront deck on the lakeside cabin is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, read, meditate and just immerse yourself in the sounds of nature.

Relax in front of your wood burning fireplace or your lakeside campfire; the benches on the dock overlooking beautiful Lac Savard are an excellent spot to savor your favorite beverage.

ORGANIC CONNECTION

Experience and learn the art of growing and caring for organic gardens and crops and the concepts and principals of nutritious and tasty foods.

Hands on learning in the garden and/or fields. Product tasting depending on season.

FARM MACHINERY OF THE PAST

Take a short walk from your lakefront cabin to the machine shed where you can view and learn about farm equipment from a time gone by. Depending on the season see these old machines perform in the field.

A La Carte & day tours

Fruit and Plant Gathering- all of the land in the valley is certified organic - pick native Saskatoon berries, pincherries, chokecherries, sea buckthorn berries, Labrador tea, hazelnuts and various herbs when in season. Self or guided.

Wine & Bread Tasting – our seasoned vintner handcrafts wines from native fruit of the valley. Experience his products along with ancient grain breads baked in house from our organic wheat.

Hiking & History Tour - learn about the early fur trade and trading routes of the area. Walk the historic Carlton Trail and century old stone crossing on the river. Hike to the plateau left by the last ice age to view the buffalo jump.

From the Water & Field to Your Table – local fresh fish, grass fed beef, selection of vegetables in season from the organic garden, breads & pastries from our organic grain and wine from the fruits of the valley.
